The tagline : "Everything from, with, and about the people and topics you like" is a pain to read.

Very funny, I'm in a business class right now where we're proposing / planning an idea very similar to this, but for music only (but none of us plan to actually build it out). And our focus would be more on news - you'd get new album releases, new music videos, but also features on music journalism sites, etc. Interesting to see you guys have the same problem and are building a similar solution.

Are women your target audience? Based on the pink and prominent women on the site, this seems to be the case. How'd you decide this?

What's your monetization strategy? Are there in-site ads, or premium features?

Small things: * I think you could do Sign Up more prominently. It should probably be visible immediately on the page. I clicked "Log In" and dealt with that navigation to get to sign up, and only later realized that "Sign Up" was available in the second "screen" on the home screen.

    * At :42 in the video, there's a graphical glitch where "What Can I Like?" appears over the search results. Looks unprofessional to have web styling errors in your video.

    * Right after you sign up, I get a "Welcome" screen that wants me to pick some popular things to like. But over half the screen is covered by your banner (plus a totally empty light pink banner that only has text once I've clicked something!). Try having the top dark banner disappear once you scroll down - or transition into the smaller lighter banner. You never need to see both.

    * Why no option to import my likes from last.fm, IMDB, or something similar?

    * How do you guys come up with your people to like? Many musicians / bands are missing who I'd like to follow.

    Cool product!

I love the idea. Better than Google Alerts for sure. Searching for likes is sort of a given, I'm surprised that's not already implemented. (Aside from the list of 'Likables'.)
