Greenpeace accepting Bitcoin donations

  TL;DR... Most important reason that this is a good thing for Bitcoin:

  > Since Greenpeace does not accept government support, individual donations are of paramount importance in the fight for pollution control, nuclear arms control and wildlife protection. > Bitcoin and Greenpeace go together as a terrific pair, with a similar goal

  Also interesting in regards to Bitcoin donations: "Greenpeace, Inc. is a non-profit, tax-exempt, 501(c)(4) organization. Donations to Greenpeace, Inc. are not tax-deductible."
