I'm a 2nd year computer science student with a 3.5 GPA so I'm not doing to bad but I feel like I've gotten by so far on I knowledge I already had and cramming at the last minute. I like to consider myself some what of a uni hacker.
I was never really taught how to take notes in a lecture and how to study for exams. I seems like I'm winging everything. Additionally I exhibit many of the same characteristics as somebody with ADHD and my love of the industry and programming is the only thing keeping me from dropping out at this point.
I feel at some point my lack of studying ability and lack of enthusiasm for studying is going to catch up with me and it's going to be a rude awakening.
So I was hoping the HN community could depart some wisdom to me with some tips and shortcuts they learned while studying at university. And I would especially love to hear from any people diagnosed with ADHD that were able to complete university.
Thanks so much. William
