  Nicely done! This goes in the right rabbit holes and to a depth conductive to rational discussion. The lack of other comments, while disappointing, isn't unexpected, partly due to the processes described in the article itself.

  What was, and is still being done to Ukraine is tragic. The tragedy didn't start with the Russian invasion, it preceded it and enabled it. In every act of this tragedy, regardless of who the other actors were, Ukraine was the designated loser. That statement goes one step deeper than what the original author discussed, but it's a necessary step, we can't get close enough to the truth if we skip it.
