    You can really tell when the stock price concerned side of the company gets involved.

    Allowing devs to block copilot could "become a PR nightmare!", for someone may release a stat "80% of repos do this'.

    Well, how would that look for adoption numbers!

    It cost money and your premium time. Why would anyone waste it submitting fake PRs to a repo that doesn’t want it?

    I remember when Microsoft first bought GitHub and everyone who found it concerning was mocked thoroughly.

    The concern that Microsoft might slurp up all code you thought you owned was dismissed as ridiculous fear-mongering. We didn't know about LLMs then, but hoo boy were we exactly right to be afraid of the GitHub deal.
