  I overheard my wife's true crime podcast talk about these playing cards and just found the idea fascinating. here are a few more links I came across.

  My first thought was how this solves any crime but:

  >In July 2007, approximately 100,000 decks of cold case playing cards were distributed to inmates in the state’s prisons. The two editions featured 104 unsolved cases from across Florida.

  They are targeting folks who might know / have info and they claim they've solved crimes this way.
