    Article is unclear on how much the solar panels add to this. They claim it got over 500 watts from the solar cells. But a Tesla draws over 360kW -- obviously dwarfing the solar cells. This is a tiny little car, so I imagine it requires much, much less -- but "much much less" could easily be 10 kW, which still dwarfs the .5 kW from the solar cells.

    I wish we could produce smaller, lighter vehicles in general. Motorcycles can easily get 90+ MPG. If we all had cars as small as this tiny car, we might not have to do anything else about climate change -- even if it had an ICE engine.
