Endless.downward.spiral – is this the beginning of the end of What3Words?

  The idea is clever, but it never made sense as a profit-making entity. It's worth something, but not much. And since it requires little to no maintenance, it feels absurd to subscribe to it.

  If this had been somebody's clever open-source project, it might have taken off. They might even have made a decent income consulting. (Consulting on what, I dunno, but people hire consultants for all kinds of things that seem obvious.) But as a corporation, I just never saw it.
