    I decided to start paying for search results when even DDG started giving me sponsored results for the top 3-4.

    Qwant. A French provider. No account needed, fast, result pages are clean and relevant enough.

    Google for now, but trying to switch to Kagi. Between Google.com's SEO and Gemini spam and Manifestv2, I'm really fed up with Google. And ChatGPT is way more useful day to day anyway.
