$1999 is impressive for 128GB unified memory, the 8060S GPU with the Ryzen APU on this machine is similar to a 4060 in performance, with dynamic VRAM this is an interesting option for an AI box.

Later a demo was showed with multiple networked boards in one case.

An AMD guy came on later and said they are focusing on Rocm in 2025, let's see what that means.

Well, here's the AI box that people were waiting for! 128Gbyte of memory with 256Gbyte/s bandwidth! Going to be super interesting to see pricing!

[edit] Pricing seems to be around 2k, which is awesome!

The lack of swappable ram feels very much against their ethos. I am not sure I can get behind this no matter the price.

Framework is really doing something special.

They're ticking boxes and finding some really cool niches IMO.

ai bs will be the final nail on ECC ram's coffin. :(

last viable ecc architecture on laptops will now be soldered for insignificant latency box numbers.
