This is one of those ideas that almost feels so obvious I can't believe it's not been done before.

I've been wanting to get back into playing text adventures for years now, but the idea of sitting at a PC to read text has been the reason why I haven't. I've played a few choose your own adventure type games on my Kindle, but found the page switching, physical dice and paper character sheet, taking away from the enjoyment.

I'm kinda kicking myself now wondering why I didn't think of the solution. I've tinkered with ESP32s, eInk screens and input devices before, and all together, but never saw what now feels like the obvious application. Looks super cool.

E-ink handheld game console. Looks suitable for things like gamebooks and casual turn-based games (Solitaire, anyone?).
