Note Taking

  I am an obsessive note taker. probably <1% ever read. I find that the role of the note taking is to keep focus, and avoid doing stupid things like cruising the web while I should be listening. And, to provide a channel to summarise what I am getting from the meeting.

  The odd thing is I now use .org format hand-draws to note my TODO with a star. I used to underline things. I guess I trained myself to look for * and # and ## denoting important things (headings, bullet lists)

  Taking notes online at IETF WG is also a good habit to maintain focus.
