CentOS Stream 10 and EPEL 10 released

    I miss when CentOS was the distro that you could pick for slower moving enterprise projects. Nowadays Rocky Linux might fill that role, I’ve seen some use Oracle Linux without too much of a hassle (aside from, you know, Oracle).

    That said, I do appreciate the stability of RPM distros regardless. I do run Ubuntu LTS (or Debian) for a lot of personal stuff because their popularity does mean almost everything you might want to do being documented and most software running fine out of the box, but I’d still look in the direction of RPM distros for when I want to set something up and have it work for a while (due to the long EOL).

    Though containers make that choice less important nowadays, which is also nice.
