Ask HN: DAO for health insurance – A human collective for betterment

A decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) for health insurance.

Insurance as a service instead of a business.

No CEO's, no bonus, no investors. A decentralized service organization that work for the people.

Weeding corporate greed with code. Would it work?

I think you're skipping over the enormous "interfacing the math with the real world" part.

How do you stop fraud? How does the algorithm know which liquid was in a vial, or the normal versus serious sounds from a stethoscope? How does it get updated as medical knowledge of "necessary" procedures changes? How does it stop fraudulent billing for a surgery that didn't happen?
