    You have to understand that roundabouts are very common in most of the UK, to the point that general people are very used not only to the roundabouts actual rules but also the nuanced etiquette of understanding what other people are trying to do when they enter a roundabout.

    Most importantly I think the secret ingredient is that compared to other countries people in the UK yield a lot while driving, and I really mean a lot, so negotiating your way into a roundabout even when you're in the wrong most of the time only cost you a stern look.
