Where to hate daylight saving time and where to love it – Andy Woodruff

    A few options I'd like to see on this:

    - the option "status quo, but drop one time zone to the west", like a lot of people who live near the western boundaries of time zones. (I'm in Atlanta.)

    - sunrise too early or sunset too late can be undesirable - try getting kids to bed when it's still light out.

    I very strongly prefer standard time to daylight savings time. But I even more strongly prefer that we stop switching between the two. If that means settling on DST, I'll deal with it.

    However, when past attempts have been made to get rid of the time change, they have all tried to settle on DST and, it seems to me, they've all failed largely because of that.
