I have three monitors, middle and right are connected via a hub. The left most problematic one is connected directly to laptop via HDMI to VGA. Middle and right are connected via HDMI -> HDMI.
If I make linqpad full screen on the left most monitor it turns the monitor off, looks like it switches to the other input...
The middle and right monitor I can make it full screen fine. As soon as its not full screen (or moved to another monitor the monitor toggles back on again).
If I connect the left most monitor via the HUB (so still HDMI -> VGA) the problem goes away. If I connect the monitor directly to the Laptop via HDMI the problem goes away.
So it's only when the monitor is connected directly to the laptop via HDMI -> VGA that it turns off when linqpad is full screen.
The hub is connected to the laptop via USB.
Any ideas what's going on ?
The only app that I experience this with is Linqpad, all versions I've tried. Never experienced it with any other app.
Why do I still use VGA you ask ? This is my works laptop, I have my works laptop and my home PC connected to these monitors. This monitors only have 2 inputs on it, a VGA and a single HDMI. So I use VGA for work so I don't have to unplug stuff when I switch from work to personal.
At my previous job I also had a laptop, different brand entirely but still running windows. IT did the exact same thing on the exact same monitor.
