Hi I am Aditi and I co-founded Potpie AI with my college mate Dhiren. We are building an open-source infrastructure to create custom agents for engineering use-cases like debugging, system design, integration testing, PR review etc. The agents are powered by a knowledge graph built on your code base to provide better context and memory, leading to better planning and execution. Currently we offer 6 ready-to-use agents but you can also build your custom agents. You can tune agent parameters like purpose, goals, background etc. and they are also empowered by pre-built tooling like code retrieval, keyword similarity search, node specific code retrieval, branch diff comparison, fetching code file structure etc.
To get started try Potpie Agents on popular open source repos like caldotcom, agentops, portkey, mem0, CrewAI etc. Don’t forget to star our repo! We both are super open to chat with folks who try our tool and help them make their software development process agentic.

This tool is outstanding! I've already integrated it into my workflow, and the custom agents feature is truly impressive, with excellent system agents as well.
What I appreciate most is its ability to avoid the common pitfalls of other AI coding assistants, like hallucinations and assumptions. Potpie.ai understands my codebase and provides specific guidance on where to make changes, making it a true game-changer for coding!

This tool sounds promising—it could really simplify designing features. I’m also curious about the debugging agent, I haven’t seen it work that well in Copilot, so I’m interested to see how this one compares!

What core elements in your knowledge graph and agent customizability strengthen this differentiation enough to warrant adoption over well-established tools like codeium and copilot?

Hey Aditi! Potpie AI sounds awesome—love the idea of custom agents for engineering tasks with knowledge-graph-powered context.

How can I use this to create my own agent? I want to build an agent that can help me evaluate Hiring Assignments.
Thanks!

just tried this to integrate firebase realtime database and google analytics events with a project and it worked in one shot!

just tried this on a fastapi based repo. works like a charm!
