I did opt out, as mentioned in the article, but I have little interest in being involved in a cat and mouse game to protect my data while simply making purchases.
“If you want to opt out, open the app, tap your profile picture at top right, then tap Data & Privacy. Look for ‘Personalized shopping’ and toggle the setting off.”
