Ask HN: SaaS Vendor Shut Down Silently, Still Charge Us via Stripe. What to Do

I just reached out to Stripe, but they couldn’t stop future recurring charges.

We might be able to work with our bank or credit card provider to block future payments. However, I believe Stripe could offer better tools for customers in situations like this—where a merchant shuts down without notifying anyone, yet customers are still being charged month after month.

    Chargeback and complaint to your state's Attorney General. If your financial services provider can't block the charges, you might need to close the account and re-open, migrating recurring charges to new account.
