It's 2024, and while GPT-4 has been around for over a year, Alexa and Siri still aren't LLM-based. Despite all the buzz around AI, only about 4% of internet users actively use ChatGPT—200 million weekly users out of 5.5 billion internet users.

We know Apple is planning on integrating GPT-4 later this year, but did you catch the demo? It’s hidden behind some weird approval interface with Siri.

Amazon just announced Alexa will use Claude before the end of the year.

We should expect Apple or Amazon to ship something great, but what if they don't?
