Ask HN: Link to interactively learn UI/Typography design

There was a link awhile ago which showed the core fundamentals of UI layout/typography.

It laid it out extremely simply by progressively adding the concepts to an unstyled block of text.

I've tried searching in google and its 100% AI blogspam (repulsive)

I also tried searching HN

I would also love to see other similar links as well. I'm trying to help my brother learn design for simple logos, but it occured to me I just take all the concepts for granted of focus arc, hierarchy, contrast, balance, ratios, aesthetics... i dont remember learning them I just sort of picked it up as i went

I know there are a ton of good "design for developers" links i literally just cant find any of them

Studying existing component systems is a great starting point. You have to imitate and respect the systems that already exist before you can innovate on new things from scratch. I'd recommend starting by reading, building with, and imitating the most well-known frameworks for some personal projects. You can also find some good Figma projects to get started with on each of these.
