Why would I want to have any further communication with a company who can't be even arsed to send me a response? If a company ghosts me, that's disappointing, but fine. It just goes on the do-not-apply company list of mine.

While rarely, it does happen that the tables turn: throwing past ghosting in the face of the recruiter (who some years later now has a great interest in me) before cutting off all communication is just way too satisfying.
