Hi HN,

We're Matt and Ken, former colleagues at Meta (Facebook), and we've just launched Blip, our take on incident management. After overseeing our share of outages across Meta, Amazon, Twitter, and Uber, we've distilled our experiences into a tool we wish we always had.

This is a self funded MVP, and we've been laser focused on speed and simplicity.

Tech stack:

  - Backend: Go
  - Frontend: HTMX
  - Database: PostgreSQL
  - Infrastructure: AWS
We'd love your feedback on the product, especially around the UI/UX and any features you feel are missing.

What sets us apart:

Speed: We're obsessed with reducing MTTR (Mean Time To Resolution) Simplicity: UI is intentionally minimal, we're more comfortable in a *NIX shell and want our UI to reflect that.

Experience-driven design: Built to address real pain points we've faced in actual at scale outages.

We're here to answer any questions and would greatly appreciate your feedback!

As a founder in this space (Rootly.com), I firmly believe in rising tides lift all ships. Let's all keep making incidents work better for folks! :)
