Ask HN: Cloud Services Cost Reduction

Hi everyone,

I am looking for an actual software package or service which:

* Will iterate and display all resources on a given cloud provider (for instance, AWS)

* Show the current price per month of all resources

* Check usage of resources and show the capacity of those resources vs actual usage

* Make recommendations about cost reductions

So far, practically all I have found are simply a bidding platform for reserved instances or some esoteric software package that can estimate cost but not make recommendations for reductions or optimisations

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

The other day I found this: https://www.vantage.sh/ I haven't had the chance to try it, but it seems to cover all your feature needs and the pricing looks reasonable, perhaps check it out.
