    IMO this addresses what has been Cloudflare's biggest competitive advantage for years - Fastly was out of budget for hobbyists meaning it was much harder for developers to kick the wheels on it.

    Looks like the interesting stuff is only on a 30 day free trial. If you want to use it for a hobby site beyond that, you need to pay US$50+/month.

    last time I checked, functions were part of the "minimum $50/month" thing. This doesn't look like a free tier, it's a trial period.
