Ask HN: Do you still use Redis? What do you use instead?

It has been almost 3 months since the Redis license change. Do you still use Redis Enterprise in production? Do you use Community Edition for personal projects? How do you feel about in-memory data store alternatives like valkey?

I guess I missed the news about the license change. We still use it in production in my startup, but now I'm considering migrating to something else. After a quick google search, there seem to be a bunch of alternatives, but this one from Microsoft stands out:

Redis license change does not affect developers like you and me.

"Organizations, including MSP’s, providing competitive offerings to Redis will no longer be permitted to use new versions and associated updates (starting with version 7.4) of Redis source code of Redis free of charge under either of the dual licenses."
