    This doesn't always end well. I believe .tv Had issues around governance, and contract. Sometimes, the nation-state wants the income more than it wants ownership but if the domain takes off then the revenue flows can be complicated by commercial behaviour.

    I think it best if the economy retains substantive ownership of the registry, the ICANN contract, the function, and leases the operations.

    I don't know how Anguilla did it, but I do believe it's been painful for some island economies who got caught out (.nu maybe?)
