The Fortune 500 Company I work for completely decommissioned HP-UX and AIX many years ago.
Are there big companies that uses *BSD, Solaris or derivatives today? If yes, why? Is it only legacy or there are specific reasons?

idk ... but i have to admit, i'm a bit baffled right now:
afaik: linux is a unix-like operating system ...
