Gitsell allows you to sell read-only access to your repos. Buyers are automatically added as viewers to your repo, and they continue to receive updates with a simple `git pull`.

I only take a 3% fee on top of Stripe's fees. And for that, I guarantee gitsell will stay up for life, and I will continue to develop it with useful features to help you sell your starter kit, design files, book, or whatever else you can put in a git repo.

Some features I have planned are ratings, comments, questions, sale insights, referral codes, search, and so on. I am releasing now without those from YC's advice that you don't want to launch too late.

Also want to mention this is an iteration on a previous idea of a site for just starter repos. I made some more expensive hosting decisions then and couldn't maintain it, so I rebuilt it from the ground up on a stack that enables me to host it for a very reasonable cost that I can sustain. The major shift that cut my costs was moving from Postgres to SQLite.

Hope this helps other indie-makers not have to set up their own selling infrastructure like I often see. Happy to answer any questions. Check it out at https://gitsell.dev
