  With that? Probably not. That girl who unboxes toys does pretty well. And Mr. Beast makes money. You need mass market type content to get mass market money.

  If you write software, like I do, that job itself is probably going to be your top income earning skill.

  I think building a YouTube audience is more about directing users to the things that make you money rather than the ad revenue itself. That might be Amazon affiliate links, referrals, your own products or courses, etc.

  Marc Lou is a good software example. He's basically advertising his boilerplate through his YouTube videos.
