My nine year old is learning to code because of AI

    I think it's best to promote and facilitate this behaviour, your child is getting a head start compared to most people, especially in the state the world is in. These day's it's not uncommon for people to start learning to program in their later years. That being said, your child learning at this age is something that could really benefit him in the long run. Not ignoring the fact that children at that age are sponges when it comes to information. They soak in everything and anything. To be honest, i wish i got into programming at a younger age. I started in my early 20's and often think about how different things would've been if i had been one of those tech kids that started real young. Would've made my childhood a lot cooler
