Alberta allows "Software Engineer" title for non-registered professionals

    "Engineer" is a regulated title in Canada, and non-registered professionals cannot call themselves "Software engineers". The government of Alberta just changed this rule for their province

    I wish it was a specific credential in the US. Maybe with that extra gatekeeping it could prevent companies from abusing the role.
