Just wondering...do you feel like AI has even begun to deliver on its promise. Is it making your life better?

So far only the Ai I trained myself, I won an award for that, but then was laid off due to github copilot being really good, and haven't found work since so its not been good.

I’m not a developer, but I do sometimes write code and it can write fairly trivial code way faster than me, but it never works exactly on the first try. Any real conundrum I face and it falls apart pretty fast and just offers the most generic advice imaginable.

So there is a bit of a convenience factor, but all the people saying it’s a game-changer strike me as a bit premature at best.

It really helped my son learn to program, he is making all kinds of things now with Arduino.

I think it is psychologically beneficial for me—the upsides tend to outweigh the downsides.

I'd be screwed without calculators, specifically my TI-84 Plus.
