Ask HN: Where to move domains now that Google Domains is shutting down?

I have to say, I still don't understand why Google Domains is shutting down. Google Domains and Google Maps are, in my opinion, the two best Google products that I've used.

I definitely don't want use Squarespace to manage my domains and GoDaddy is out of the question. Hover seems okay but their UI was a bit buggy when I tried it a few months ago. Cloudflare is currently my top choice but they don't seem to have the variety of TLDs that Google Domains had.

What registrars are you guys switching to?

I just use Cloudflare (or Vercel for the sites I host with them) and it works fine. I stick to the traditional TLDs though.

I have been using NameSilo for years, since it was just a couple of guys, and am very happy with them.
