However, I occasionally find myself searching for a comic on a specific topic, only to realize that it doesn't exist. This got me thinking: what concepts out there are still in need of the XKCD treatment?

Real world experience vs how it should work as per x for dummies type book ... coupled with the dangers of wrong things and myths that even really clever people get caught up with, gaining momentum in various echo chambers online.
I guess for me, online, the epitome came with the introduction of M$ XP and those few years the average user used to try old 98 boot disks to sort out their small problems landing with the inevitable - easily fixed before they talked to someone who knew XP backwards, screamed at any one suggesting the boot issue was dos (98 sys command execution meant that had to be sorted out first) related ... XP ONLY EMULATES ... oh boy, I watched so many hapless sods have the "expert" eventually suggest to reinstall XP clean - there was no explaining to the "experts" what happens with a sys command.
