Resources for learning about building a PC

I'm looking for resources to learn how to build a PC. I don't want books on computer architecture per se, just books to get someone started on learning how to pick the right processor (assess what power they need and understand the terms), learn how to pick a motherboard, etc.

Before looking for a book like this, have you considered if you really need one? There are tons of configuratros for PCs these days (example, which I am using: https://pcpartpicker.com). I built 2x PCs already with it. Saves lots of time and you don't need to know everything to use it.

What specific problem requires you to build a PC?

If it is curiosity, then just build one.

If it is a business problem, hire a consultant.

    It's not 1992 anymore.

    Good luck.
