  Clear and pointful (kudos). Why this one is hidden (flagged) ? I almost missed it.

  ..Whether the origin of COVID-19 is natural spill-over or lab leak, transparency of research activities is essential. We need a drastic reform to rectify the secretive culture of life science.

  I don’t think the proposed solution, to make any communication of official virologists, would work. Either people will use other means of communication or stop having any meaningful communication at all.

  Maybe we rather need officials who tells us truthfully what they know.
