Ask HN: What are your Christmas gift ideas for family and friends?

For me, that's one of the most frustrating parts of the year to come up with gift ideas. I have the habit of buying them presents randomly so they already have everything they need. Share your ideas and maybe some great ideas will help a lot of people get rid of the presenting block:)

Every year I go to the slightly-fancy supermarket in town and buy some gift cards for the people I can't think of presents for. Everyone buys food, and it's fun to find it in your wallet and have an excuse to go and get a nice block of cheese or a deli sandwich.

There's an AI for everything so why not try this one [1]?

I usually end up buying the same stuff. I like to think I'm creative with my gift-buying talents but default to the old reliables.

Horribly unpersonal, but for my cousins I went with relatively cheap 3D buildable puzzles...

Don't forget to get stocking stuffers if your family does that.
