    That ConvoCube is so close to a good idea, but wow I would despise sitting in one. Frosted glass seems like the obvious choice to me, allowing in light and indicating to people outside whether it's in use, but preventing the user from being watched or distracted. Weirdly, the article mentions distraction-reducing polished glass, so maybe it's an industry term I don't understand that looks different in reality, but the concept image's glass looks completely transparent.

    Overall, I don't feel like anything is very transformative here. I'd expect features/decor like these in a really nice office today. Zoom rooms exist, they're just ugly and cheap. Outdoor sitting spaces exist, they're just hard to maintain. Even my company's office, which I haven't been to in years, already has very small side rooms for calls which look less claustrophobic to me than the ConvoCubes, because they have full-height ceilings.
