I have refrained from commenting on this situation due to the persistent lack of outside transparency, not knowing enough to make a judgment on the specific motivations everyone involved in this had/has and will reserve making a full judgment for the time when we finally get a more clear picture.

However, I will say that seeing Ilya as one of the signatures on this letter has given me severe whiplash. I was fully aware that I knew very little about this situation beforehand, but now I feel like I know even less.

Crazy that all of this was predicted on the actions of two (apparently inexperienced) board members who bit off way, way more than they could chew.

Hindsight is 20/20 of course, but I think even the most greenhorn of finance majors would agree that axing the superstar CEO in a surprise coup isn’t traditionally good business.

This is wild. They're going to have to respond to this, in no trivial way. Either they lose all of their employees, or they could lose their partnership with Microsoft. The board has very little wiggle room right now.

Wait I don't get this. Ilya is one of the signatories, who is on the board. With how the numbers work without their participation this couldn't have happened to begin with.

If only this much energy were placed in an outrage against what we are doing to the climate...shows where the prorities lie. Money.
