How Will Journalists Survive Digital Media's Decline?

  Journalism as an act is something societies need, benefit from and can be performed by literally anybody, albeit better by some than others. Journalism as a business is what looks increasingly unsustainable.

  Against that backdrop, we should focus on changes in law -- largely, but not exclusively, around access to public information -- that make it easier for the act-not-business to flourish.
