    SpaceX's Falcon 9, and creating a car company that is likely to stay in business are unarguable accomplishments. A lot of Elon's critics don't see how massive are those accomplishments.

    But Elon is strangely endangering both: Cybertruck is a bizarre idea that will quickly saturate the elonthusiast market, and Starship is a Space Spruce Goose.

    The valuation of Tesla is levitated on robotaxi future profits. The valuation of SpaceX is propped up by Starlink, which has 1.5M subs, almost all in the US, and about 2% of what it needs to support a satellite network.

    It's a house of cards. Run by the seat of Elon's pants.
