Why do people save their empty Apple boxes?

  Although it is true that they are well designed, I don’t know of anyone saving these boxes.

  I also believe that they are some of the few worth saving, if one is into that kind of thing. I have own a dozen different laptops thorough my adult life, and most came packaged in the dullest possible way.

  Apple seems to be one of the very few manufacturers putting some thought on it.

  I save them for resale of the item, when I bother. Additionally, it over a thousand bucks, gonna keep packaging for returns for the first few months. I find the packaging itself mildly annoying.

  Because the device fits in it perfectly when being sent for repair.
