Ask HN: Future of Work

Hey hn was wondering your take on what the future of tech overall looks like 5 to 10 years from now in terms of work location (in person, hybrid, or remote)?

Ive worked now in two positions 100% remote but continually get articles suggest 'leaders want the workers back in office' so it got me curious to know what the future of work in tech looks like from now to 5 years out...10?

    It's hard to say. If you asked people this question in 2011-2016, almost all of their guesses would be wrong.

    I think it's safe to assume there will be a market for both remote and in-office work. Pre-pandemic I was doing remote jobs, and now post RTO I'm still remote. FAANG and F500 workers are at the mercy of their management, but I don't trust those trends to reflect the "future of work" or what have you.
