  Does the price of subscription matter at all? A dollar or two per month? I don't think so...

  I have been leaving Spotify a couple of times already but it is a network effect that matters at the end. If I want to quickly share music with my gf or friends it is Spotify or Youtube...

  A lot of people don't actually pay the conventional Spotify pricing. You can buy very cheap access to a family plan or switch your country using a VPN to pay less.
