  The article is from 2020, when Al Jaffee announced his retirement. He died in April 2023 at the age of 102.

  Cartoonist Brian Carroll (of "Two Party Opera") celebrated him a few days later with a special "One dollar bill":

  This is much nicer on mobile than the other one recently posted [0] but it’s a bit to easy to trigger. I keep triggering it accidentally when performing gestures like scrolling and pinch-zooming.

  Oh man so cool.

  Loved that magazine. Always looked forward to a new copy of Mad mag every couple of weeks during my high school years.

  I remember I would get to school early just so I could get my hands on it and read it.
