I've become increasingly disappointed with the Economist digital services - I intend for it to be a calm, insightful news source, but instead it serves me flashing ads, has started pushing video and audio content, and every so often I have to re-confirm that I don't want it to sell my personal information. I just had to go through a multi-page user retention maze to unsubscribe. These are bizarre moves for a subscriber-based business that relies on trust.
