Hey HN, realized my new tab page was the most visited and least useful page in my daily routine. At the same time, Post-It notes were getting lost on trains and in airplanes.

Enter PANED - a stupid simple new tab notes extension that is designed to capture all the random things that don't meet the bar to go into Notion/$PRIMARY_NOTES_APP, but still need to be remembered.

The panes are backed by contenteditable divs, allowing you to go crazy with what you paste.

Everything is saved to localStorage and never leaves your device.
