  If you're a nefarious agent with the capacity to manufacture chemical warfare agents, you're a threat either way. Adding AI into this equation just gives sufficiently motivated actors a way to invent new drugs... which given time and money they could have done anyways. I struggle to take this fearmongering seriously when the status quo looks nearly identical to their example outcome.
